Course Description
The focus of this four-session series will be on international trade in Washington State and Greater Seattle. The sessions will cover the importance of international business to our region, its companies, ports, educational institutions, and nonprofits. The participants can discuss the issues surrounding a globalized economy and how it affects their lives and our region. Global competition requires a strategy, education and infrastructure support. The lecture series will discuss our strategy.

William Stafford
Stafford is president of the Trade Development Alliance of Greater Seattle. The Trade Development Alliance of Greater Seattle is comprised of the Port of Seattle, Port of Tacoma, the Port of Everett, Metropolitan King County Government, Snohomish County Government, Pierce County Government, the City of Seattle, the City of Everett, the City of Bellevue, the City of Tacoma, the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce and organized labor representatives. The Trade Alliance exists to promote the Greater Seattle region as one of North America's premier international gateways and commercial centers.
